Our Story
The Diaspora Collective is a gathering place that welcomes the community to celebrate the culture, discover the rich history, connect as a collective, and be empowered to be ambassadors that shape the narrative about Africa and the African diaspora. In addition, it is Soko, a market to shop for a curated collection of products made and designed by Black artisans from Africa and the African diaspora. Finally, it is Latha, a restaurant and bar that offers cuisine and drinks rooted in the food traditions of Africa, the Caribbean, Brazil, and the southern United States.
