The Motherland purse is handmade in Ghana. The wood Sankofa reminds us to remember and honor the past, take what is helpful as we move forward, and make positive progress in the future. Africa is made of mud cloth, kente, or leather. Mudcloth is a traditional Malian fabric dyed with fermented mud and plant dyes. Kente cloth is woven with beautiful and bold colors that have meaning.
